There's nothing better than a smooth transition from your wedding straight into reception. As your celebrant I can also perform the task of a professional Master of Ceremonies.


My first professional Master of Ceremonies gig was years ago, for a 1200 seated Vegas styled restaurant in Victoria called The Swagman. I worked seven nights a week as the MC, as well as performing in the floor show as an actor and a singer. 


After the Swagman, I worked as a corporate MC around Australia and hosted countless awards nights and gala dinners and wedding receptions. I was also able to morph into a variety of characters to suit the theme of the event (as required) using my acting training to create characters and write comedic scripts to entertain guests.

A good MC can make your event one that is remembered long after guests head to the carpark. A recipe for potential disaster is just hoping it will be all right on the night, with a mate of a mate of the best man who is a DJ,  or a distant uncle with bags of dad jokes hosting the proceedings. 


Apart from being a professional entertainer, I was the President of the Croydon - Yarra Valley Toastmasters Club and won the District 73 (VIC, NSW, S.A ) Humorous Speech Championship in 2017 and was a top ten finalist in the International Speech Competition.

Your professional MC is an incredibly important part of your reception's success. Their responsibility entails a great deal more than just making introductions: they need to be able to improvise, enhance the mood of your event, liaise with the venue, the photographer, videographer and interact with your guests. 

It takes a pro to know how to run a show and you can be confident your guests won't be bored in my company. I will keep the energy flowing until it's time for the night to end. 


If I am your MC, I will be the icing on the cake of your wedding reception.
